The Design Leaders Conference is where creative professionals across all design disciplines come together to connect, share and celebrate the power of design.
For 2025, Design Skillnet wanted a new visual identity for the conference representing Irish Confidence in DesignContinuous Learning and Growth, and Success Through Leadership.
With art direction from Dee Corcoran (Chapter Design), I developed an iconic, adaptable logo, a flexible colour palette, layerable patterns and textures, and Irish typography which balances the contemporary with the traditional.
The logo is inspirated by traditional Irish design and the natural world of wind and sea.
The colour palette is of a deep, rich, and elegant green representing Ireland’s heritage, confidence, and groundedness in design and a sharp, neon green to symbolise learning, growth, and innovation, providing a contemporary contrast against the deep green base.
Accessibility and inclusivity are embedded at every stage of the process, and all design assets adhere to best practices for accessibility.
Sustainability is at the heart of the DLC brand, which means prioritising circularity, reducing digital waste and ensuring reusability across all visual and material components when possible.
I implemented unique sustainable solutions such as a mobile-friendly digital conference brochure and reusable modular cube displays made from renewable, non-plastic, recyclable materials.
